My mother just loves it! December 21, 2008
I bought this bag for my mother, who just loves Purple. She had one like this, but I didn't know if this would suit as well as that one did. It definitely did. I got so many thank yous . . .

This bag is much better than I could have hoped. The name "extra small" is deceiving! It is plenty large enough for me to fit two pairs of glasses (each in their own case), a wallet, cell phone, and MANY odds and ends! The number of pockets is impressive, many of which either zip or Velcro closed. The anti-slip fabric on the adjustable strap helps prevent the purse from sliding around: a great plus. I find it much more comfortable to carry than any of my previous purses, including a backpack style bag. It is light-weight, which is the primary reason I went looking for a new purse, and the price is great! I've only had the bag a short time, maybe a month, but recommended it to someone almost immediately, and she loves it, too! The only complaint I have is that not all the inside pockets have closures, and I find that some of my things slip out, but that is probably because I'm trying to carry too many things. All-in-all, this is an awesome bag!
Great travel bag! March 17, 2008
I took my AmeriBag on a trip through Italy. It kept all of my essentials organized, including the umbrella, and ready to hand. The fabric still looks like new despite hard use and rain (every day!). The bag is well balanced and hangs nicely whether facing forward or backward. FYI, backward is much more secure against the ever-present pick pockets in tourist areas.

The Healthy Back Bag is a cross between a shoulder bag and a backpack. I find that it really does relieve stress on my back and even on my shoulder. Although I wasn't sure if I would like the distressed nylon, it's very attractive, looks a little like canvas, and has a nice feel to it. Even though this bag is Extra Small, it has plenty of room for what I usually keep in a handbag. The Healthy Back Bag comes in a series of larger sizes and different fabrics. I've seen some of them and they're all extremely well made, as is this one. I highly recommend this bag.
