Keep Doing What You Do, Dreena! January 1, 2009 Once again Dreena brings it on with this collections of varied, delicious and easy to make vegan recipes along with some personal stories which make the experience of reading and learning from this cookbook even more personal. I made the Super Stuffed Mushrooms last last for New Year's Eve and they were quite the hit! I wish I had made more. Other faves from this collection include Ginger Hoisin Rice Noodles, Sweet and Sour "Neat Balls," Creamy Potato Leek Bake and for dessert Coconut Raspberry Squares. Unfortunately a soy allergy leaves me unable to use tofu or soy milk so I will have to get creative in finding substitutes in order to really enjoy the panoply of ideas and creations Dreena has offered. Thanks!

We have three of the authors cookbooks and we love them all. What I really like is that I know I can count on Dreena when there are kids or omni guests to feed. I also like the element of simplicity she keeps while creating some really unusual and delicious dishes.

The Everyday Vegan is a great cookbook. It contains lots of versatile recipes that are for the most part easy to make and not time-consuming. I've been a lacto-ovo vegetarian for many years, but I'm new to being vegan and I've found this cookbook informative. I also appreciate that she is health conscious and avoids partially hydrogenated food items.

There are some amazing recipes in this book! You have to try "Wild Rice and Mushroom stew";fast becoming a weekly favorite!

Lots of good ideas for the beginning vegan. Good info on organizing your vegan pantry.
