Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Still a great tailgating cookbook 12 years later! Get it!   October 1, 2008
This is just an awesome tailgating cookbook. There are tons of recipes. There are recipes for breakfast, brunches, salads, appetizers, stews, and the famous Brett Favre crawfish etouffee. This book is true entertaining year round.

There are hundreds of recipes and many menu suggestions. There are menus for Tailgate Barbecue, Monday Night House Party, Chili cook-offs, Cajun Bash, Sunday Night Italian Buffet, Backyard Beach Party, Thanksgiving Weekend football Feast, Draft Day Brunch, Down-Home Training Camp Blow out, Elegant Playoff weekend Dinner Party, football Fiesta, Preseason Patio Luncheon and After the Game Stew. These are parties that would be good even if it weren't for football!

There are no drink recipes, and there aren't many pictures of the food itself. Most of the pictures are of the players, team logos, etc. There are lots of dessert recipes. There are no tailgate lists, no packing tips, no information about grills, etc. you'll need to visit www.tailgating.com to find all that information.

This is a great cookbook that's all the food! This is much better than the "NFL Gameday Cookbook."

Everyone I know who has had any recipe from this book loved it. I know that sounds ridiculous but kids and adults have enjoyed it. The recipes are not extremely difficult most of the ingredients are things you probably already have in the house. If you happen to be an NFL fan it just seems cool to have this cook book but really anybody should check this cookbook out.
