| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description The Meatless Galley Cookbook is unique because none of the over 140 fabulous recipes require meat. The book is designed for the boater who wants delicious, easy-to-prepare, healthful meals while they enjoy their time afloat on holiday, trips and cruising. With not only great recipes, The Meatless Galley Cookbook provides advice and answers to boaters in many areas of meal preparation and related topics. There are sections on provisioning, menu plans, helpful hints, an introduction to offshore cooking, storage tips, and even spice substitutions. In addition, the book is beautifully illustrated throughout by nationally renowned marine artist, Bob Stewart.

Delicious recipes and practical for the purpose written October 19, 1999 11 out of 11 found this review helpful
I found THE MEATLESS GALLEY COOKBOOK to be a well-written cookbook with reasonable, nutritious, low-fat ingredients. The procedures make it a practical volume for onboard cooking. I have used this book on two short cruises and another longer cruise. All of my meals were very successful, and the dishes were easy to digest in a sailing environment. I recommend the book for any vegetarian cook at sea or on land. A spiral binding would make the book easier to use in the galley.
