I got this for the start of my third year on internal medicine. It came in quite handy when trying to remember what goes where on the lab schematic. Other things seemed like they will be useful, but I haven't needed or will need to use them.

It doesn't have enough to offer. The quality of papers and print are bad.
I got this book, but when I saw "EZ Pass clinical rotations" in my friends' pockets, I found the differences. EZ pass has more than 10 times information, very good paper's quality and printing compare to Maxwell. Much easy to use .....
Just look at the book on amazon.com, you will find, what I am talking about.

Easy lab value and common formula look up. I used it as a student and still use it as a resident. Its pocket sized, light and useful. What more is there to say??

Maxwell is a quick pocket reference that I would recommend to any medical student or intern.
It is concise and organized by color coded pages, very easy to carry in your jacket.
There are sections on ACLS protocols, normal values, how to write common orders and procedure notes, APGAR scores/immunization schedules, GCS/neuro exam/dermatomes, as well as how to write an H & P. It also includes several blank pages for you to include your own notes.
