Silly and informative story! July 20, 2010 Gina M. Mayer Good book! Silly and informative! My sister loved it! I gave it to her as a joke but we ended up learning something from it.
Can you really go wrong? July 13, 2010 With a title like "The Gas We Pass?"
Santa brought this to my step-daughter (the flatulence queen). Good, good stuff. :)
great ironic gift July 10, 2010 jcw Hilariously lacking in cohesiveness. Filled with non-sequiturs and random farts, some of which are emitted from animals that make you wonder, "what the hell is that thing?" There are probably better ways to educate your child on farts. However, like "Everyone Poops," it makes an excellent ironic gift for adults to give each other, and can add a few chuckles to a party.
pass on this one May 25, 2010 smilesalltheway (Battleground, Washington USA) 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
The last thing my 6-year-old needs is someone to tell him it's ok to let it rip. No manners taught in this book.

From the perspective of an instructional book an adult could use before/during talking with one's child, to be blunt, the book is a waste of time and money. From the perspective of a book a child may want to read to learn about the subject, again, to be blunt, it is an insult to a child's intelligence. There is only one diagram and only one paragraph that makes it to the bottom rung of the sensible ladder. Beyond those two tiny points, all 'artwork' of the 'book' is either crude, rude, obnoxious, or any combination of the three. Really, you will be far better off just talking with your child about the subject without the use of this book and...your child will do well to ask you about the subject instead of reaching for this book. The only use any child could get out of this book is to learn the word fa_ _ and it is used 21 times in this book that takes about 3 minutes to read. So I guess I have to recant somewhat. If you want your child to learn how to pronounce, spell, and use a crude peice of the English language, then go ahead, buy the book, and give it to your child. For that it will be a great addtion to your library. Beyond that I highly recommend you do not purchase this book. By the way, I was able to obtain a copy of this book at our local public library so I am out zero monies, only my time. Hopefully this review will prevent you from losing your money or your time.
