Needed a bigger suitcase December 30, 2008
While at a bed and breakfast in London, I found HP Sauce on the table with my breakfast. "What the heck," I thought, and dumped some on my eggs. It was fantastic, and I looked forward to breakfast every day just for the HP. I was also thrilled to find little packs of the stuff at some casual food places (and I filled my pockets). The tragedy is: it's expensive in the US, especially for an everyday condiment. Had I known the import price was so steep, I would have brought back a case! Now I have to use it sparingly, but I know for my next trip to stock up where it's cheap.
Outstanding Sauce September 25, 2008
We were introduced to this sauce in Scotland and fell in love with it. This purchase makes it possible for us to enjoy a little taste of our trip. If anyone hasn't tried this wonderful taste, you should. Goes great on hamburgers!

HP sauce - or Brown Sauce as it is known in the UK - is the perfect companion for sausages, burgers and almost any savoury food. It is a thick (like ketchup) sauce with a stronger flavour than most other commonly available bottled food sauces. Brown Sauce is the final touch that makes Bangers (sausages) and Mash a great comfort food. Try it - you will never touch ketchup again!

I recently discovered how wonderful HP Sauce is and now I cannot eat fish and chips with out it! I can't wait to try it with steak or on a burger. Anyone who loves malt vinegar should try HP Sauce.

I was treated to this sauce while in Canada for a friends wedding recently. I have to say, it is easily the best steak/brown sauce I've ever had - it's sweet and tangy and spicy all at the same time, but not overpoweringly so. The sauce seems extremely versatile and would be excellent over steak, poultry, burgers, fries - and I'm sure would be a fantastic marinade as well.
