FANTASTIC mix, even if you don't have to eat gluten free! January 8, 2009
This is truly a fantastic mix! My family eats gluten free food out of necessity; however extended family and friends all love this mix as well and several began using it after eating it at our house. I use milk instead of water to create extra thick pancakes (but they are great if you use water as the recipe calls for) and we just love Sunday breakfasts ever since we found this mix. Really, try it just once and you will be hooked, too!
Can't Go Wrong With This Gluten Free Convience. January 8, 2009
I have been using Pamela's Pancake Mix for many years and was very happy when I found this extra large (compared to her other bags of mix) Baking and Pancake Mix. If you don't want to have a bunch of different flours sitting around in your pantry and fridge, this is the way to go. All mixed up for use in minutes...in one bag. I have made some exceptional muffins from this mix as well as pancakes and a variety of other goodies with the recipes that are all on the back of the bag. This is one mix I will continue to keep on hand.
Great gluten free baking mix January 6, 2009
Pamela's Baking and Pancake mix is a great gluten-free mix! I've tried several other mixes from our local health food/organic stores - Whole Foods and Trader Joe's - and Pamela's is by far the best. I've made several of the recipes listed on the bag of mix and so far the absolute best recipe is the pancakes! I throw some blueberries into the pancake batter, which helps to make the pancakes tasty, light and airy - they don't give you that "stuffed" feeling after eating them. My husband and I believe these pancakes are better than the flour versions. Pamela's Wheat Free Bread mix is good, too - makes a nice loaf of sandwich bread. Thanks Pamela's!!

Excellent for pancakes and baking. I have tried almost all the recipes on the bag and they all taste great!
