Product Description
Kalamata Olives come from the sunny southern Peloponnese Peninsula of Greece. These olives are world famous and for good reason. They are flavorful and have a great texture and a purple/brown color. Cured in red wine vinegar, water, salt , and olive oil, these olives retain a unique flavor. Real Kalamata olives are also slit on one side to absorb the brine they are cured in. Hand picked from the finest olive groves and pickled on site, the flavor is uniquely Greek. A great value when purchased in this size. Prices are expected to jump up sharply in the next few months given all the fire damage to the olive groves this past summer. This is a great way to stock up.
